s2g man if they just had vendors I would've never unsubbed but rng gear grind makes the game stupid as fuck.
They do have vendors now though! I actually really enjoy the progression system in 8.2. What's wrong with it? There's a little bit of RNG in the benthic gear but I think some RNG is fine.

Not sure if PvP progression has changed, the conquest rewards are still fixed each week. And you can earn manapearls and stuff by participating in world pvp, which are used to buy gear
