Absolutely Epic needs to make improvements to be in line with the basic features of Steam, but no launcher exclusivity is gonna keep me from playing games I wanna play

I might be naive to the issue, but can someone explain to me why it’s such a big deal that games are “selling out” as Epic Games Store exclusives? My opinion is that Steam’s 30% to devs is nuts, maybe Epic is an inferior launcher but using multiple isn’t the end of the world.

One of the biggest criticisms here is the brand loyalty and ubiquitous use of Steam, and “splitting” PC gamers’ libraries. Never heard anyone rag on Blizzard for forcing users to use http://Battle.net ... idk it’s just a non issue to me as long as the games work.

I ask myself the same question and also agree that 30% is too much. In the entrepreneur world, NO ONE gives away 30% unless that person/company receiving it helped build up the business.
