(1) From the looks of these replies, there is not a good enough consensus for the future of AI that will preserve human control. I believe there's no utopian future for AI, only the best of only bad outcomes...

(2) Our society has already experienced a taster of limbic hijacking from online advertising - that is the algorithmic distribution of content to increase the value of an asset. This will only get increasingly worse with AI advancement.
