those who believe more fuel reduction burning is the answer to this problem .. are playing with themselves!! If we tasked the entire country to hazard reductions burns ... the actual impact on our bush would be a tiny percentage of what would be required. Spotting overrides this!pic.twitter.com/QyZEbosvls

When you have fuel and wind, Fire happens. We were overloaded with fuel from Melbourne to Toowoomba. I saw this myself.

The dirt and stubble on farms burned, too. Farms with no trees. Cow dung, mineral-rich rocks, dirt and stubble can now be added to "fuel loads."

From a fire truck that remained after others departed? Looks like it deployed water (safety mechanism?) which obscured the video vision. Keen to know more.

Most people who haven't faced a fire front like that would assume 'I can probably handle the spot fires at least.' When people who've survived
#AustralianBushfires say "the spot fires were impossible to stop!" they mean like in 2nd half of this video.Hvala. Twitter će to iskoristiti za poboljšanje vaše vremenske crte. PoništiPoništi
