I'm no mathematician... but if you didn't have enough votes to keep Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court, you REALLY don't have enough votes to impeach him.

Not only that but the filibuster rule is not in play for impeachments. You have to have 60% of the House to impeach. Even if that were to happen, they need 60 votes in the Senate to convict. None of which will happen. All this impeachment nonsense is just talking points

Who enforces the supermajority rule? If some judgelet from Hawaii can declare the president a racist and exercise legislative and executive authority, why not some judgelet from Californica indicts Trump, Pence, and Kavanaugh and gives them the perp walk?

Supermajority isn't a rule. It's a term used for when a certain political party has the majority votes requires (2/3) to pass law. That is in the constitution. It's just very rare to have a supermajority.

Constitution has been dead for some time. Why would this part of the constitution survive the rest of it?
