Refamous is lying, @arttavana . #ComicsGate began when Cultural Marxists began successfully demanding that the exaggeration of female form be stricken from the art of comic books (see victims Milo Manara and Frank Cho) and then began using this new influence to impose more...https://twitter.com/arttavana/status/1040030402960711680 …
It is apparent that the ugliness of the females drawn by the new artists is not only the result of all too realistic body proportions, but of inability to draw a realistic looking female. If they were realistic, would be nicer to look at.

You were JUST complaining about them being realistic. Almost as if you're the one who doesn't actually care about the art style.
-
I said "hard to draw pretty girls, because everyone knows what a girl looks like while no one knows what a monster looks like." I complained that they were drawn unrealistically through incompetence, not that they were drawn realistically.
-
Yes, I know. That was a few minutes after you complained they were drawn realistically. Because your political agenda requires that you complain, not the actual art itself Talking shit about artists who succeed will never fill the void that peaking in high school left behind
-
No he problem is the majority can't draw anymore. Jim Lee and the vast majority of the artists in the 90s on a bad day embarrass the work of a lot of the new artists. Exhibit A bad on left, amazing on rightpic.twitter.com/hUDqG1infY

Notice that the one on the left makes the classic kindergarten mistake of drawing what he knows to be there, rather than what eye will see. He is drawing on top of a three D model, generated by the computer, but is annotating it, rather than cartooning it.
-
Yep, it's lazy. It's not pleasing to the eye and takes a minimalist effort approach.
