Instead of being angry can you calmly explain why it’s better to be diverse? I always took slogans about diversity to be meaningless mumbo jumbo. Where’s the beef?

I think the most honest argument is: I don’t know if more diversity is good or bad but we should make the best of whatever level of diversity we have.

You could ask countless businesses. They don't just promote diversity to look good. Bringing together people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives helps plan and solve problems.
