Is there ANY non-food, non-human-services company in the developed world that isn't ROYALLY FUCKED by what's happening in China? I don't care WHAT you make or WHERE you make it, you need SOME Chinese components for it. The complacency of US stocks is INCREDIBLE/UNSUSTAINABLE.

I didn't watch the Super Bowl, but 50% of my timeline is people talking about stripper poles, booty shaking and revealing outfits... More evidence that American football isn't proper football... ⚽🇬🇧😁

Impatience is rejection of the present. Impatience is obsession with the future. Impatience is a desire to change what is. Patience is acceptance of the present. Patience is letting go of past and future. Patience is embracing what is. May we be patient.

I found she same thing with colemak. Took a while to get back to my former speed, but it is definitely more comfortable.

Changing keyboard layout from QWERTY to Colemak significantly helped, but it was a high (time) cost investment. I don't regret it. After more troubles, I also discovered that index-finger clicking on the trackpad was horrible for my wrists. So I stopped that. Helped a lot.

For me pull ups have been effective to counter the effects of typing a lot. And avoiding the mac butterfly keyboard.

started going to the gym 2-3 times per week to use weights to build muscles around my arms and wrists. It took ~6 weeks for my wrists to recover. I've been a bit lazy and didn't do it in the last 2-3 weeks and even though the pain isn't back, i can already feel it coming back

I started using a split keyboard which made a big difference, also got one of those balls:

For me turned out to be all about systemic inflammation. I get inflamed from lots of sugar/dairy and much more likely to get hand pain during those periods (even with less use). If your pattern of pain is not directly connected to use, may be worth exploring. ♥️ - Hand

Oh, also, it may be referred pain too, so checking things out in your shoulder and neck too... posture, monitor height , and also other non computer related activities that might exacerbate things.

I run and take the breaks seriously. Also stretching wrists regularly. Careful not to overdo it though. Also a good keyboard, posture, etc. helps. Unfortunately there are no shortcuts, and it always takes time to pay off.

Sit/Standing desk that allows lots of micro adjustments really helped me. Plus lots of regular movement and doing non-computer stuff.

⚠ If your main (or only) source of income in life is related to typing on computers, take special care of your wrists. This thread has a lot of tips. Take precautions before your thirties.
