    So, to make it public (hold me to account), my New Year's Resolution is to not fly in 2019. The only loophole (should I even allow this?) is if my partner has to return to South America & I emigrate to stay with him. I don't want to be a preachy dick about this but....

    For me the question is this: How can local communities stop the exploitation and extraction that the global economy is currently dependent upon and, at the same time tend to the damage that the last centuries have bought to humanity and ecology? To do so changes everything.
