RT/share their work on social media so more eyes see their work. Its a huge confidence boost, and gives them the energy to go on. they'll meet new people that way too. You dont have to be friends or know the person that well to do this. Just be friendly and supportive!

A simple like/love/rt not only encourages them, coming from an artist whose work they admire can keep them motivated! Additionally this shows you care and makes people remember your name.

they might mention you when people look for artists or need help solving problems. Sure you dont have to solve all their problems (especially not unpaid) but a little bit of advice or a nudge in the right direction might be a job opportunity later.

Be supportive to newcomers who want to learn the same trade as you. You dont have to take them by the hand, but dont crush their dreams/be mean. If you give criticism make it constructive, and ask them if they actually want advice/criticism. they might not be ready for it yet.

Share your knowledge. On forums, social media, communities, youtube, etc. the more you do this, the more people appreciate your time and effort, and again makes them remember your name. And the more this all happens, the bigger your reach, and the more appreciated you become.

It can be really enjoyable watching someone grow, thank you specifically for landing their first internship or job, and knowing you and your efforts are appreciated. I certainly enjoy it, and take pride in this. It results in boosting my own confidence. (and kindness)

Well said. I've had a lot of great mentors on my journey as fx artist. It's great to give back and help other artists grow, which in turn grows your own skills of giving feedback.
