We are all credible messengers in the fight to end human trafficking. Today we had a powerful workshop to inform and empower our young people and educators–filling in the cracks with red sand to symbolize the everyday actions we can take to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
Today we honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the continuous struggle for change. Honoring Dr. King's legacy is more than quotes and tweets on MLK Day–we are called to do more. We are called to act and walk in that purpose today, tomorrow, and every day after.

Seniors should not be rendered ineligible for their medical needs simply because of cost of living adjustments to their social security benefits or pensions. This legislation will help seniors in this essential program retain their benefits & access affordable prescription drugs.
to protect seniors' EPIC benefits was signed into law. The EPIC program helps ~325k seniors pay for prescription drugs. This bill will ensure they don't lose coverage because of an increase in retirement benefits to align w/ cost of living.
