I am a Jewish woman who supported the Women’s March because I believed in the ideals & causes I THOUGHT it stood for; inclusion, justice, equality. I still believe in those ideals, but am broken hearted by the hate. I am beside myself, but will continue the quest for justice.

Whatever the previous politics of some of the organizers, they were not known to the march participants and not proclaimed at the march. Thus, the meaning of the march is completely insulated from these particular hateful beliefs. I was there. We did not march for antisemitism.

Thank you Radu. I participated in another city. The people I marched with were determined, strong but kind, always kind. I get this is not representative of the majority but unfortunately most don’t know that.

The onus is on @jaketapper - since he brought this up and has a large audience - to make it clear that antisemitism was not advertised before and not promoted during the March - and therefore the message of the March is intact & completely separate from the organizers' troubles.

Then he should also mention the fact that *no antisemitic themes were advertised before the March or mentioned during the March*. It's relevant, and it's true.

Then the ppl of the march should have distanced themselves from these people. But they haven’t. For some time. And that is a fact.

We stand for the principles of the march, not any problematic people who declared themselves leaders.

Do white supremacist militia groups *not* support and associate with the NRA? I'm not saying the NRA endorses racist groups, but they don't refuse white supremacist militia group members' dues, so they at least tolerate and take money from them, right? There is a connection...

Oh for God's sake there's like 5,000-8,000 KKK members (.003% of the population) in the entire country, and about 5 million NRA members. Let's not be dramatic.

If the NRA finds out one of their dues-paying members is a member of the KKK or related groups, they should refund their dues and cut them from their membership roles. And they should due this publicly and emphatically. Just make an effort to show they reject hate/hate groups.

I'm curious how your stance applies to Women's March who not only fails to affirmatively reject hate groups, but actually employs and champions them. Would be quite shitty if your "morals" are entirely baseless and simply espoused when political expedient

One Woman Doesn’t Make Or Break The march

There are a lot of us who don't want to be associated with or support this kind of leadership. Fortunately, voting is what matters. This is just really disappointing, and that's putting it mildly.
