You wondered why Andrew Cuomo gets applause Jake Tapper. In part, it's because NY-ers understand that he worked really hard, and that he doesn't find focusing on covid to be "distracting." Cuomo IS worried about his state. Yes, mistakes were made--but this is 25th Amd material.

Anyway - I am more inclined to provide more forgiveness to decisions made early on when everything was brand new then some of these governors now that should have learned from things that happened back in March/April and are instead banning mask mandates
