I visit Sri Lanka at least once a year. It is a beautiful country with welcoming people. I am heartbroken by the astounding magnitude of the loss. As a percentage of the population, it is comparable to America's 9/11.

I’ve never been, but I work with some Sri Lankans here and they are the friendliest, kindest people. Always smiling. I’ve wondered if the whole country is that way.

Luke 23 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others;let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God

I do hope not the number of death toll will increase anymore. May the wounded survive and recuperate asap.
