I have often - and still do - work more than 80 hours a week. I know many small business owners that work even more. How many families in the US have parents working two jobs? How come karoshi isn't rampant among start-ups? 'Time at work' isn't the core issue.

I’ve always felt insincere smiles are far worse than no smile. Makes me depressed and afraid or genuinely uncomfortable to see someone forcibly faking a smile, like they are either insane or in suffering. One can always tell, it’s in the eyes.
