Imagine hiding and blocking people’s comments?!?? If your husband is doing that then surely you’d be outraged too? I’m disgusted :(

it's gross. I think someone mentioned that she has a video about a prior relationship being abusive which is really sad. I don't agree with how she's handling it at all, but it makes me wonder if she's as brainwashed as the young fans.

This is probably the case. He may be manipulating people all around him! I hope she knows that if she took the kids away by herself as a single mum and kept the channel going on her own whilst keeping her kids safe, most people would maintain respect for her and support her!

definitely! I am half sad for her, half fuming at her because sadly she is half of this business and half responsible for the message they are currently portraying and the example they are setting for the super impressionable audience.

I agree. She’s in a very difficult position and I don’t envy her one bit. It must be so hard. But as a mother I think she has a responsibility to speak up. I’m sad for her but finding it harder and harder to sympathise with her as the days roll by without any mention of anything.

yep I think if she can't deal with it personally she should take a break or instruct someone to make a statement on her behalf. if children were going to brownies or guides and this happened, the organisation would have to deal with it and reassure parents.

The problem is by ignoring it she is telling children going through grooming and abuse that watch their channel that it’s something you shouldn’t talk about, something that they shouldn’t share and something no one will believe.

When I experienced grooming and abuse I wasn’t in a position to tell anyone and no one spoke about it on tv or anything, if a story like this broke and was dealt with in this way I would have been convinced talking about it was a bad idea.

I’m so sorry to hear you had that experience. It is so important that we make people feel comfortable to come forward and speak out when they have been treated wrongly. Nobody should feel alone, embarrassed or afraid.

It’s so true, it took me until I was in my 20’s to even admit to myself fully what had happened and that’s without a celebrity/influencer culture that these kids have today.

You are brave. I noticed the girls who came out are similar in the respect that it took them a while (at least a few months) to realise they were being groomed, because they were so young. Groomers/abusers are quite cunning like that.

It’s hard to explain to people but for me the grooming was the worst part because you realise you have been manipulated and brainwashed by someone and that you didn’t even notice it happening. It makes trusting yourself and other peoples intentions very difficult.

Yes! I've noticed from screenshots provided by the girls who came forward, Chris Ingham plays a clever little game. He acts all charming, and like your best friend - very playful then lays on personal compliments like "you're so pretty", "you must have boys falling for you" to...
