    Learned 30 minutes ago about an amendment to lower the voting age to 16. Seems like a big deal. Zero facts. Zero research. Zero consultation w/constituents. So did something I’ve never done before and voted “present”. I hope that was respectful of your collective opinions.

    It is shameful that House Democrats won’t take a stronger stand against Anti-Semitism in their conference. Anti-Semitism has fueled atrocities throughout history and it’s inconceivable they will not act to condemn it!

    I hate this deflection. Of course POTUS has the right to over-ride CIA/FBI concerns on security clearances. He also has the right to launch a nuclear attack. He has the right to pardon vicious criminals. A right does not mean it’s a wise idea.

    Gonna try!

    Jim Himes made big gains in New Canaan and Darien in 2018. He lost New Canaan by 13% in 2016 and Darien by 15%. He lost New Canaan by 2% in 2018 and Darien by 3%. My guess? With Trump on the ballot, he'll win at least New Canaan.
