I really like the idea of showing the ownership of the page in the security pill thingy but only if the page is actually secure. If users see the lock icon with for example http://paypal.com next to it they can see that they are actually on a paypal site and can proceed.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to do if the page is not secure. Maybe it should just say:
UH OH RUN AWAY

My hypothesis is that the high degree of [INAUDIBLE] mumbling makes viewers fill in what they wanted you to say and then remember it as you having said it. So everyone agrees! Nice trick

huh, I didn't notice this when reviewing, but I guess I'm tuned into my own voice.

The security is fine imo. I would suspect the UX folk would say it's going to produce ugly results at small screen sizes and a few other indicators etc.
-
Doesn't seem troublesome at smaller sizes to me. I mean, it's *less* than what Safari is already doing.pic.twitter.com/km3RMPKSTN

I actually really like that suggestion, it bugs me that the order of importance of URLs is so weird. Start on the left, Jump to the middle Read RTL until back to the beginning Go back to the middle read LTR until end.
-
I had a go at creating the ideal order of URLs, but it's pretty hard. For instance "https" is "how to talk to the host", which means it should come after the port number. But, it's also "how to parse the rest of the URL", so it should go at the start.
