Lost my Gold Status with @SingaporeAir after booking 2 flights to hit that milestone, due to a payment mistake. Speaking to customer service and getting robot replies. Was sadly trying to keep it despite relocating out of SG. Sucks :(
Worst part was actually booking a trip to Asia & Europe to specifically keep it! They were not required travel at all. So silly. Feel like I wasted money to book trips only to keep a certain status. Probably a good lesson to be learned that status shouldn't be important at all.
