At what point does Donovan get the benefit of the doubt? He should easily get 8.25 seconds, not less than 8!!

Its the right call. Rudy possessed the ball for 2 seconds and Donovan for 6 in the back court. Count doesn't reset on an out of bounds.

Someone gave some context to this. Rudy grabbed the board, possession changed and shot clock started then ball was knocked out bounds. 22 was correct.

Rudy had the rebound and had the ball knocked out of his hands out of bounds. This was correct.

I’m pretty sure the 8 seconds resets in that situation. Just like if you throw the ball back to the other half you have a new 8 seconds to cross. Not a Jazz fan, just pretty sure it’s supposed to reset

Jazz fan here, but the clock started at 22 because Rudy got the rebound before this and Jokic knocked it out of bounds after 2 seconds. It sucks but this was a metal lapse on Donovan. Let's just focus on everything else great he did today
