@Jacobatf “Foetus” is Latin for infant. It refers both to infants in utero and post-partum. Being in utero does not deprive a human of their personhood.

If you don't like abortions, don't get one. If you want abortions to go away, support legislation to provide free birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

By your logic a slave owner could have said : "If you don't like slavery, don't own one" but humans are persons from the moment of conception. In what century do you live? This isn't 1962. Low-cost, contraception is widely available and, in many instances, subsidized by tax $.

Comparing abortion to slavery is insane. Abortion is legal, and frankly, none of your business. How a woman decides to handle a pregnancy is her business, not yours. By your logic the gov't should be able to control all our decisions to conform to their standards.

Slavery was legal too and none of the business of people without slaves, according to your logic

Slavery was legal once too. Then it was illegal. Why? The pro-slavery argument was virtually identical to the pro-abortion argument. Both rest on the denial of humanity of the enslaved and the aborted. That's why you used "foetus," to deny humanity to the infant.

We value bodily autonomy over human life, though. To the point even though 22 people die every day because good organs are fed to worms, no one can save eight lives wIth one dead person's organs without their prior consent. Not exactly a culture of life.

Of course we do restrict behavior by law. You are not allowed to murder people postpartum because 1. it's immoral; 2. it's against the law. The pro-life argument is that infants in utero deserve the same protection of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Your entire premise foundation is built on begging the question. What is the unborn? What value do they have? What is our duty to our offspring? You cant make conclusive statements about choice and privacy until you exhaust those questions starting with science then philosophy.

Mr. Harper. Apparently you don't know Gianna's story. She survived a saline induced abortion at 7.5 months. To say that abortion is none of her business when she is almost killed by one is insane. Look at an ultrasound please.
