I’m just some Canadian but you should be proud you stood up for what’s right, even though it was very hard I’m sure. You show great conviction man much respect.

Please never call yourself “just a Canadian,” you’re our neighbor, our ally, our family too! Also, I agree with every word!

If your dad’s sense of reason ever returns, I’d like to think he would be proud of you for doing the right thing. Stay strong.

Jackson I just saw you on @CNN with @ChrisCuomo , you are brave, you are strong, and you did the right thing. Hopefully someday your mom and your sisters will see how you're trying to save your dad. Sending them and you a ton of love in the meantime.

Watching that made me tear up and my heart ache for this brave young man. Chris was exceptional in reassuring him that he did the right thing and it's not his fault. Also loved that he let everyone know he's got Jackson's back going forward. The damage Trump's done is horrific.

Jackson: Please realize you may have saved your father. Without your involvement who knows what would have happened in the ensuing days. I hope your family will one day understand you were simply looking out for yourself, your father & them. Please stay in touch w @ChrisCuomo.

obviously your dad is in the cult. I am sorry you are going through this and it was probably a difficult decision but you did the right thing. You show courage. Your family will come around. I hope your father is converted back to normalcy and you will repair your relationship.
