(3/4) As an open platform, it’s crucial for us to allow everyone–from creators to journalists to late-night TV hosts–to express their opinions w/in the scope of our policies. Opinions can be deeply offensive, but if they don’t violate our policies, they’ll remain on our site.

(4/4) Even if a video remains on our site, it doesn’t mean we endorse/support that viewpoint. There are other aspects of the channel that we’re still evaluating– we’ll be in touch with any further updates.

Update on our continued review–we have suspended this channel’s monetization. We came to this decision because a pattern of egregious actions has harmed the broader community and is against our YouTube Partner Program policies. More here:https://yt.be/help/xLtT

Yeah companies should never have control over the content they host, what is this, a free a country? Your side decided corporations were people with free speech rights, enjoy!

No rules or regulations of YouTube were violated. This decision was based on FEELS not something someone did wrong. Are they in control of that decision, you bet they are. Is everyone else allowed to crap on them for it. YUP!

Great! Tell everyone how shitty you think it is. You can’t argue that they’re somehow breaking the law or limiting free speech though - they aren’t the state, they can’t do that.

Who said anything about them violating the 1st Amendment? LMAO! We're consumers & we hold the power here. You're having an argument, & no one else is having it with you. Your agenda was just exposed and failed. Nice try tho. The
#Antitrust that's coming should be fun tho.

“Your agenda was just exposed and failed” lmao eggy Freddie here getting super heated. I like how you think antitrust regulation will still somehow take away their right to publish content as they choose, like any publisher. No one has a right to a “monetized” opinion buddy.

If I were writing for a newspaper or magazine or producing digital content for any of those entities, my employers would have an absolute right to fire me (demonitize me, if you will) if they don’t like the content I’m producing. This isn’t hard.

The dislike of the content doesn’t even have to come directly from the org - if readers or consumers complain, again, antitrust not gonna take away any orgs right to control their content.
