Didn’t intend to spend my weekend here, but my brain had other plans. Turns out, there is a specific migraine called a hemiplegic migraine that mimics symptoms of a stroke. That had people very concerned this morning. I’m fine, that’s the working theory until the MRI comes back.

This is a perfect "gotcha" against monstrous hacks like Hawkey but the answer "I don't know" also speaks loudly in terms of the history of forced sterilization in this country.

I just saw a clip of a reporter asking a woman about CRT in her neighborhood schools and the woman replied with a yes, CRT is a problem. The reporter asked for more details, and the women replied with something about "transgenders and furries." So that's where we are.

One thing I come across regularly in the archives are letters from everyday women telling their abortion stories before Roe. The hurdles & humiliations they overcame to get a simple medical procedure are staggering. And that horrific past is fast becoming present again...

Currently sitting in my kid's orthodontist's office (it's braces day!) and they have massage chairs in the lobby and they offered me a cappuccino while I wait. Man, I went into the wrong occupation 💸💸
