@Hegelbon on a more serious note it really bothered me how spec ops rigs the choices so you just fail if you try not to "follow orders"

@Hegelbon infinite soldiers spawn at the WP section and there are a couple hard game overs if you don't murk defenseless NPCs

@jackfruitstaken I appreciated how like you can just shoot straight in the air after Lugo dies and the NPCs disperse

@Hegelbon ah, clever. if you appreciate how these games call motivation into question you'll probbaly appreciate the metal gear series

@jackfruitstaken Ah yeah, I have them all set to play actually -- I'm really looking forward to that. Think I might do a real-life article

@Hegelbon i was really surprised by them, definitely worth attention from more 'literary' types, not to mention probably film scholars

@jackfruitstaken Apparently there are filmic critiques out there -- but I ahven't seen them yet. I think the games seem super smart
