Tim Sweeney is the only billionaire I can say for certain is a talented software engineer. Probably quite unusual in his current bracket.

A lot of the bigshot corporate guys have people to do it for them, but Sweeney appears to have made ZZT in nine months in his parents' basement. That game had its own internal scripting language and built in level editor, both unheard of in games at the time.

Maybe there's some sugar-coating going on here that I'm not aware of, but Sweeney is the only credit on the game. User levels proliferated for over a decade online. And the guy who made that, also managed to bring Fortnite to market, minting billions.
