Is it funny that they don't do that anymore because they decided to try and make money as writers? Yeah, I guess. Previous generations would have called this "locker room talk." It was behind a paywall half the time.

It's funny the way people talk about FYAD like it was Stormfront. Almost none of those guys would have been considered actually racist at the time in question. They just really liked calling each other that word.

By the grace of God (and maybe some elbow grease on the part of certain administrators) those old posts aren't archived and searchable, but I imagine a lot of them would look like the Kyle Kulinsky tweet. I recall virtually zero earnest interest in right wing politics.
