      Yeah same. I'm loyal to their smartphone software/hardware but it isn't designed for local music playback. Even the iPod firmware wasn't very good at it. After they dropped the 35mm jack I got one of these:https://www.amazon.com/HIDIZS-AP80-Ultraportable-Bluetooth-Resolution/dp/B07HFQDYQP …

      You could do it on an iPod with iTunes, I'm sure. The problem was that the iPod turns your music library into Swiss cheese and you have to get some janky program to organize it into proper folders again.
