Men's Wearhouse will tailor one for you on the (relatively) cheap. Buying off the rack is a little iffy unless you're at a specialty store like that where they ensure it can be altered to fit.

Oh, I dunno. I'm partial to blues and greys, but as far as I know the fit is more or less standard-issue. As long as you don't need it for funerals you can get a charcoal or navy with some subtle patterning in the fabric and paisley lining and wear it for anything.
