Two of these are vocaloids and one is from Pokémon. This is just her take on already existing commercial art but kawaii to the max. You could find fan art with exact same characters but drawn with different styles and expression. I’m sure there is gore or hentai of these chars

The less art makes you question what you are seeing the more marketable it is I think. Cute is supposed to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Kawaii sells very well in Japan and the kawaii market did what every market does and expanded elsewhere.

I dont think the artist is conscious of this though. She probably just wanted to draw something that made her feel good and wants other people to see it. She probably holds the common idea that you should do what you love for work so she’s trying to do just that. Good for her

See that doesn't bother me at all. I think the way it plays out, the things that are being escaped *from* and *to*, are related to things that bother me. But I can't fault someone for expressing that in a skillful way - if anything they're doing me a favor.
