I'm talking about something orthogonal to any policy concerns and trying to address how we should view the fact that some populations are hostile to public health's attempts at covid control, and whether (and how) it's still possible to communicate with them.
Experience with the liberal anti-vax crowd suggests to me that communication is effective around the edges at best. Your best communication is going to happen at the elementary and middle school level with proper explanations of disease and immune response.
I doubt you can individually argue anyone out of their position but stuff has an odd way of filtering in, which is how we have 96% of doctors vaccinated despite plenty of them being totally off the walls.
