A lot of my stuff is honestly kind of shabby from prolonged use (car, clothes, phone, even my wallet) but I sort of take pride in running everything to the ground before I replace it. I won't get rid of a pair of pants until there's a major rip down the legs or on the seat, etc.
I replaced my ipod 5 after fifteen years and with a solid state mp3 player that can take an SD card I hope I'll never have to buy one again.
