Apparently the "Steam shouldn't have reviews" narrative is making its way through indie twitter again so I want to again reiterate how damaging this would be for a lot of developers.

It would be bad for passion projects but it could help out the people who despise their audience and want to sell games based on false advertisement and top-down social pressure from journalists they've captured.
