Typhoid Mary wasn't mounting an immune response, she was a reservoir. Immune response sufficient to prevent serious symptoms should logically limit the period and amount of viral shedding.

Well, you can reason all you want about whether on not vaccinated people cannot be spreaders. But I wouldn't want to be unvaccinated in a context like this.
