      Liberals or progressives? Not the same. Anecdotal, but so far I'm seeing more liberals break away from "social justice" progressivism in a way that I don't think would have happened under Trump II. And the strengthening of radical progressives mainly happened in summer 2020.

      In any case, the federal government is hardly the only locus of power in America. There are state and city governments, corporations (whose massive leftward shift took place under Trump), civil institutions, etc.
