Most people I know are conservative and I don't know anyone who really thinks what Chauvin did was right, even if they follow that up with George Floyd not being an angel. Most people don't want to see that kind of policing in America.
I've run into plenty online who are sure Floyd died of an OD. In the immediate aftermath of the video coming out there was bipartisan condemnation though.
