Getting rid of SAT/ACT is just canny administrators protecting their bottom line. They're probably looking at the people they gave scholarships on the basis of test scores and realizing those people are never ever donating to them.

If test scores predict "academic success," then that's actually a flaw in the measurement of academic success. College should instead be a battle royale where thousands of mediocrities are admitted and one hundred graduate once they've successfully ruined everyone else's lives.
