If you look at what leftists actually say, they think "age gaps" are "creepy", and dating young adults 18-21 is "borderline pedo". They want the age of consent to be 20, 21, I've even heard 25 "because that's when the brain is fully developed". Nothing like the right imagines.
This is the right reading leftists as proponents of an idea (say, bodily autonomy/agency) rather than representatives of a demographic (aging professional women). While there is tension, in this case the former is simply not capable of overcoming the latter.
