They're building real power, the kind that can collect as many valid unfilled ballots as necessary to achieve the desired result and deploy as many and as few as will keep their favorable result from scrutiny. If that comes to be expected it's game over for "democracy."
I'm looking at it too and it looks like I was mistaken - the DNC asked that the statutory ban on ballot harvesting be lifted among other emergency measures but the judge only allowed for postmarked ballots that show up late to be counted.

I'm still not really convinced it's normal for the number of ballots outstanding to be a floating point with massive variance for a week, and not confident in the chain of custody for ballots in the context of the results doing a backflip in a handful of cities.
