What's a film that impressed you or had a major impact on you that you were surprised to find out no one really cared for?

Interesting. Haven't seen it. Anything in particular that got to you about it?

I thought the gimmick of it was clever enough to support the story, the music is fantastic (Mansell, Kronos Quartet and Mogwai), overall it's a moving meditation on death/grief/acceptance. Aronofsky has often veered into 'goofy' but this one and Pi are both good serious movies.
