What are the best arguments for/against Facebook banning qanon? I get the need to stop the spread (a woman at the Verizon store told me the govt is covering up a pedophile ring) but my concern is that it won’t help.

No point, Facebook shouldn't be in the censorship business and Zuckerberg seems to prefer not to be in the censorship business

Might be good for fediverse but that's its own little funhouse of horrors, the major instances are all more censorious than Twitter
