It's weird when foreigners have this assumption of America as this insanely nationalistic, propagandized country when the views of our most far-out nationalistic loons are like, the way the average Chinese or Turkish person sees the world.

I get that, but I also get the impression online Brazilians take a bit more personally than usual.
They might also take more shit just because they're in a US time zone and more likely than Koreans or Germans to be gaming at the same time.
