They don't totally have a choice. They bought the end of history mindset and earnestly thought - maybe still think - these kids will just calm down and see reason once we can get the right ones on the payroll.

Besides, these have been coalition partners for a long time and their coalition is bleeding out. It seems short sighted, but either the guys pulling the strings have enough money that it doesn't matter or everybody is just relying on the heart of the cards (has worked so far tbf)

Yeah I guess the thing that I was thinking about is they still need the youngs to turn out and if you keep them engaged this way they’ll never really ask for anything concrete
