Yes, we should have absolutely no standards for lawmakers and those in power other than Medicare for All. Apparently the only problem you have with licking boots is the current flavor.
We do have such standards. They're set by a thing called the law, which can be changed by constitutional amendment or by a state or federal legislature. If you want juvenile convictions to disqualify a candidate you're more than welcome to lobby your representative.

I never said that it should. Luckily he was free to run. His paperwork wasn't rejected nor was his campaign deemed illegal. That's all good. But he isn't legally entitled to support, or to votes.
