I'm kinda torn on job guarantee vs automatiom but jehu basically argues people will do socially useful work voluntarily and I think there's probably something to that. I don't mind running a truck route, I've put hundreds of hours into a simulator anyway

Probably depends on the job. There's an autistic guy who runs the NYC subway for free and constantly gets arrested. I don't think there's a shortage of guys who will run heavy machinery or logistics, the bigger issue is scutwork like janitorial or stockboy that's hard to automate
