There are a number of ways this can go but it's interesting that you read a conversation about a conflict between gay men and feminists as a conflict within LGBT. I didn't mention that coalition at all or compare its participants' "marginalization," nor did Heidi.
What I'm talking about happened as a precondition for "LGBT" as inclusive or even tolerant of "feminists" (and vice versa) to ever make sense in the first place, and as in any coalition both sides made concessions that neither was happy with.

First: if gay men were too open about their liaisons with adolescent boys they would be arrested, but otherwise their masculinity would be tolerated as non-threatening. Later, feminists would have to come to terms with the idea that people with penises still exist and want love.

The stable equilibrium is that nobody gets love at all, everybody gets the market and contract law, nobody is any happier than they were 60 years ago, we have a massive number of surplus males and a growing population of women who have spent their prime dating years on hookups.
