It's really cool to look at this shit and realize the left is just a total ethical void. If we had seen the old comrades go "uh, this is pretty bad, we have to talk about what went wrong here" to any real degree, fine. But it's just omerta all the way down.
It's a total disconnect between image and substance, like a hologram hiding an invisible solid object. You stumble across an unseen obstacle and grab for something you thought was there, and it's not.
