there were several murders on capitol hill and half a dozen more in the central district, pioneer square all with police on the street in 2019. Seattle remains an extremely non crimey city. Murder is usually pretty dumb and cops don't stop murders.

Yeah, i don't know what to do about stupid people doing jacked up shit in the city like murdering each other over club beefs but having a functioning East precinct and cops all over Pike and Pine didnt' really seem to stop those shootings either.
