      AOC represents, to the mass of people, what Socialism is. The Democrats, too, are Socialist by proxy. Socialism, stripped of labor/revolutionary history, now means idpol, Empathy, and Warren-style tax reforms. So, is this progress or the necessary rehabilitation of a dying party?

      It's not a hopeful time, that's for sure. I guess my optimism - the same optimism that figured we'd just get the single 100k wave of corona, so grain of salt - tells me that there's a qualitative change in the air. It's not good, but at least it's new.
