      By demanding compliance with this effort, "new" minorities such as Asians and Latinos are integrated into the mainstream culture of the US by essentially being handed a shovel and told to come help dig at this project that everyone is and has been working on

      The willingness of a minority to integrate with US mainstream society is now a function of their willingness to join the effort to uplift African-Americans Those who steadfastly refuse can be assumed to be permanently alien and hostile, though practically none have emerged yet
